"This is the first time in two years that Rachel hasn't medaled," MC coach Tim Navone said. "Rachel has only lost to one other person also a Branson girl, Emily Cannon. They played four times I think, and I think they split. Julia is a great golfer. She's always been in or around the top golfers in the league. ... Our hats are off to Julia. 9/26/2006 Justin-Siena 225, Branson 233 The one-two punch of Emily Talley and Kate Olen was too much for the Bulls (6-2) as the Braves (5-1) took over sole possession of second place. Talley shot a 35 on the par-34 Vintner's course, while Olen scored a 2-over 36. Julia Herron led Branson with a 36.

9/13/2006 Branson 256, Novato 383 Behind strong performances from their one and two players Branson breezed by Novato at the par-36 Marin Country Club. Julia Herron shot a 46 with Gina Shalavi adding a 47, helping Branson stay undefeated in four matches.
9/5/2006 Branson 270, San Marin 341 Julia Herron shot a 48 at the par 36 Indian Valley course to lead Branson (2-0) over San Marin (0-3). Caroline Shalavi made par on the eighth hole and birdied the ninth to shoot a 50. "It was an OK performance after coming a off a four day vacation," Branson coach Al Endriss said. "We've still got a lot of room to improve."
9/4/2006 BRANSON GOLF - The Bulls are looking for their third consecutive second-place finish for the 2006 campaign. Senior Julia Herron will attempt to lead Branson on that path. "Julia's capable of playing with every other girl in the county," coach Al Endriss said. Herron won all-MCAL honors last season.
